eFood App
An ordering app that a restaurant runs under its own name, so its regulars order directly instead of through a delivery platform that takes a commission.
Where it started
The first version was built for Sashiko Asian Fusion in Protaras, to cut its dependence on platforms like Wolt. It worked well enough that we turned it into a product other restaurants can launch under their own brand.
How it works
Each restaurant gets its own copy of the app template: its menu, branches, colours and domain. A central panel lets the team switch features on or off for each restaurant and push updates to every copy.
Web, iOS and Android, with no commission on the restaurant's orders.
My part
As Head of Design I lead the app's interface and the restaurant-facing experience. [DRAFT: George to add specifics: screens, decisions, results.]
